"Rhine Meadow Camps"

"RheinWiesenLager"

"Rijn weidekampen"

After the end of the Second World War, many thousands German soldiers were
locked up behind fences with barbed wire by the Allied troops
on bare meadows, mostly located along the Rhine.
Many of them did not survive.
This is an unknown and sinister history.
