C1 – Böhl-Iggelheim

Not far from Ludwigshafen, we found the memorial halfway between the
villages of Böhl and Iggelheim, on Iggelheimer Straße. A memorial
stone stood in the shade of some trees and bushes. It was quiet there, with
occasional cyclists passing by.
Again, the memorial was a 'Mahnmal', saying remember, but never let it happen
again.
What was striking was the poorly cared for plants in front of the
memorial. It was late May and then that flowerbed could look much nicer.

My prayer to God, our dear Lord, the Almighty is in line with the reflections on this memorial stone. I have prayed for Love, Light and Peace for all those who suffered and died here in the Rheinwiesenlager.
