It had been more than a year since we had been in Zahlbach. The intervening time
yielded no new facts or search results. There was no sign for us of a
Rheinwiesenlager in Zahlbach, other than the old map of Zahlbach, where the west
side is above. Nowadays, maps are usually shown facing north. This old map shows
two cemeteries and I assume that these two cemeteries are part of the former
Zahlbach. These cemeteries later grew together and are now shown as one cemetery
on the second map.

It was a very hot day, the temperature rose to the 36 degrees Celsius mark.
I parked the car along Albert Schweitzer Street. It was not far to walk to one of
the entrances of the walled gigantic cemetery.
I had done my homework well, I had landed exactly in the section where victims of
the 1st and 2nd World Wars were buried. Whether deceased from the Rheinwiesenlager
were also buried here, I don't know.

It was a nice place for a prayer. I prayed God, Our Lord and Almighty for Love,
Light and Peace for the deceased of the Rheinwiesenlager in Zahlbach.
